A Moment in Time: April 6, 2013. Abundance: Is it Quantity or Quality What Comes to Mind?
Close your eyes for a few seconds. Imagine you’re the person in this image experiencing a magical moment at the beach. Breathe in the fragrance of the ocean while the sun kisses your face, feel how your skin is caressed by the gentle breeze and your feet embraced by the playful waves as they rest in the soothing wet sand. Smile and while you’re still feeling this paradisiacal scene slowly open your eyes and come back to my words.
Did it feel good? I’m sure it did. And the reason it felt good was because for a few seconds, you were able to focus on the quality of your life, you were able to stay in that specific zone where time and space are nonexistent and in which abundance is the only feeling there IS.
This “Abundance Zone” you just experienced is where the quantity that you bring to your reality is created. The more you are able to feel in the way you just did throughout your day, the more you will be able to bring into your life.
You see, we usually associate the word “abundance” to the quantity of things we have in our lives: How much money we have in the bank, how much money we owe, how much our home, car or belongings are worth, how much we earn as a salary, and the list goes on and on. When we allow our brains to think about all these quantities we are ignoring the fact that behind all these “quantification exercises” our ego minds are so accustomed to practice for us, there is a source where all these “measures” are created. In other words, the quantity of the things we have in our lives right now is a direct result of how much time we are dedicating to stay in that ‘Abundance Zone’ where quality is all that matters.
Do you want to live an abundant life? Who doesn’t! Then start believing that the quantity is a natural result of the quality of the thoughts and feelings you practice throughout your day.
Now, I know you could give dozens of excuses as to why this abundance tool can’t work in your life. You can probably say that you’re sick, broke, divorcing, heartbroken, or simply you have so many problems that you really can’t focus on anything else right now. How bad do you want to experience the life of your dreams? Yes, that same life you have come to reveal before dying and going back to the “other side.” If you’re truly committed to changing your current circumstances, something so easy as dedicating a few minutes to imagine moments of quality (you can change the ocean scene for any other that is dear to your heart) every now and then during your day is not asking for much. Besides, it’s free of charge!
Which do you think is one characteristic that all wealthy people have in common? They are constantly focusing in the quality they offer to themselves. Of course they also think of the millions and so on but they spend most of their time imagining the projects they are creating or want to create no matter the money they may cost. The money is secondary because they know that in the quality of their thoughts and feelings it is where all the quantity continually reproduces itself.
So let’s go back to the beautiful beach where you were imagining that ABUNDANT YOU that already has everything. Once more, feel the sea breeze and listen to the waves coming back to the shore. Now tell me something. Can you feel the quality that nature is offering you in that moment? Does it have to do with money? Of course not, it simply has to do with the fact that you have been able to forget the concepts of lack and scarcity and you have felt the real you which is ready to emerge and stay for good.
Until next time and don’t forget to be love!
