Two weeks ago, I had the privilege to make a pause of ten days from work, Internet, daily routine, family, friends, and in general, from the world I currently know and recreate.
Every year, I try to take a break (my last year break is documented in Return to the Jungle’s Innocence and Ayahuasca has healed me ) from all that’s been happening in my life, so I can disconnect, look back, reflect, and be able to change what’s not working for me anymore and allow the new to come and settle in. Albert Einstein, believed that problems cannot be solved from the same level of awareness from which they have been created, and I completely agree as in my own experience, whenever I take these breaks and I go OUT of my reality, it is when I’m able to discover a few new pieces of my personal puzzle (I see life, as an “under construction” beautiful puzzle) and witness with profound clarity what are the next steps in my path, so that once I’m back into my reality I can put them in practice, and I always do! If not, what would be the purpose of my break, right?
Recently, I had the opportunity to interact with a cute little boy named Tommy, who was just starting to take his first steps and who, in spite of his apparent clumsiness, had some amazing teachings to offer me. (more…)
From Mondays to Fridays, the majority of working adults living in world cities that are vital in the preservation of the current global economic model have agreed – conscious or unconsciously – to conform to a life where resignation and compliance are the names of the game. Many of us have been conditioned to believe that the only way to pay the bills, bring the money we require to cover our basic needs while we get to where we want to be, is through a job we simply DO as an obligation and often times with no enthusiasm or passion.
There is so much that has been discovered about the way our brain functions. Why should this matter to you? Because when it comes to positive change and manifesting the life of your dreams, you must first learn the easiest and fastest way to reaching your goal.
Think of yourself as the driver of a manual transmission car with 5 gears who wants to get from point A to point B. You can choose to drive the car all the way on first gear and sooner or later – later than sooner, that’s for sure – you will get to point B. But, will your ride be as enjoyable, smooth and speedy as if you would choose to use the rest of gears? (more…)
It took me many years of study and research to come to the conclusion that I live in a society where feelings are confused with emotions. When it comes to learning how to positively change one’s life, I have read extensively and I have participated in many amazing personal growth workshops and courses that have helped me to get to where I am today. In the area of feelings and emotions though, I always “felt” as if there was a piece of information that was missing, because it was clear to me – still is – that people use these two concepts as if they were interchangeable, when in truth, they are not.
When I listen to the word “repentance” my brain tends to associate it with the old religious belief that we must confess our sins. Having to confess our sins is a biased statement I believe, as it implies that we are all sinners who in order to avoid “punishment” must seek repentance. Throughout history, religion has used so many vocables to propagate dogma that many of us today, don’t know the original meaning of the words we commonly use as part of our vocabulary. Becoming aware of the origin of our internal and external dialogue is pivotal if we want to bring positive change to our lives, or better, if we want to understand what is to bring positive change to our lives. Simply put, we can’t continue to think, write and speak on an unconscious way. (more…)

The building is the most magical one. Enchanting décor, unsurpassable views from the top floor, a romantic and exquisite dinner and the best of all companies: my soul mate, Arnaud. (more…)
Even when on the superficial levels that we all prefer to observe, it might seem different, the world is not in the current situation because of its religious, political and economic wars. The world is the way it is simply because we, its human inhabitants – it is important to exclude the rest of the animal kingdom and clarify that humans are comprised of men and women in almost equal numbers – have not yet made peace with both, the masculine and feminine energies that simultaneously flow within each and every one of us. On deeper levels that might not be evident to the naked eye, what’s still unsolved and unforgiven is all the pain and suffering that men and women have inflicted on each other throughout human history in the name of religion, politics, and the economy. These might be quite unsettling asseverations to some. But whether we like it or not, we must admit that we are a by-product of our past…let us not forget that energy – and we are only that – can only be transformed but never created or destroyed. The reason why we must live in the present is simple: It is the ONLY space and time where we are able to experience love. Yes, love can’t be found in the past or the future, and the only way we can create something new is by loving it in the now. So why is it that so many of us insist on staying in the past, if what we live there is only an illusion and nothing new can be created from that space and time? (more…)
It is so common to see so many using the word “enthusiasm” without even knowing its undertones. To be honest, I was one of them until a friend of mine a few years back taught me what I didn’t know : the meaning that millions are still taking for granted.
If we go to the Merriam-Webster dictionary we’ll find that it will be described as a “strong excitement about something, a strong feeling of active interest in something that you like or enjoy.” This is the usual way of seeing it. But where does this excitement or strong feeling come from? In order to find out we must do some etymological research to observe that “enthous” in Greek means possessed by god, inspired by god.
