Seven Lessons Before I was Able to Become Love. Lesson #1: Forgiveness
About the new blog series: “Seven Lessons Before I was able to Become Love” is a collection of eight short articles where I share eight values I consider the origin of the person I am today. After the eight articles are all published on my blog, I will be offering a free mini e-book with these as chapters that will easily connect and complete the sequence in one little self-help book that you will be able to download at no cost as my way of saying thank you for letting me be a part of your world and making it possible to HealThruWords®
I was one of those people on Earth who chose to begin the twenty-first century with a brand new life. Literally! I had gotten my divorce two weeks before 1999 ended – intentionally on the same day of my wedding anniversary. So there I was, not knowing how or where to begin my new path, after twelve years of being married to a very sad life. (more…)
A Moment in Time: April 20, 2013. To Learn, I Spilled the Starbucks Chai Latte!
One of the things that perhaps you don’t know about me is that I tend to be a bit clumsy as you will probably notice after you read what happened to me yesterday. Sometimes, I feel like my inner child takes control of me and decides she wants to play without thinking on consequences and those boring adult-like stuff. This was one of those times! (more…)
A Moment in Time: April 6, 2013. Abundance: Is it Quantity or Quality What Comes to Mind?
Close your eyes for a few seconds. Imagine you’re the person in this image experiencing a magical moment at the beach. Breathe in the fragrance of the ocean while the sun kisses your face, feel how your skin is caressed by the gentle breeze and your feet embraced by the playful waves as they rest in the soothing wet sand. Smile and while you’re still feeling this paradisiacal scene slowly open your eyes and come back to my words. (more…)
A Moment in Time: March 21, 2013. From Limited Social Individuals to Unlimited Virtual Beings.
Just a few days ago I went to have lunch with one of my daughters at a casual restaurant in London. There he was, sitting next to us totally unaware of his external reality, completely immersed in the virtual world offered by his smartphone. First his soup was served, then his main course and finally an espresso accompanied by the check. During that whole hour, the waitress came to his table a few times and if he said five or six words to her I will admit that I am exaggerating. He was so disconnected from what was going on in the space that surrounded him that he only raised his head and looked up when he got up from the chair to put his coat and leave the place. Many of you know my blogging style quite well by now. (more…)
A Moment in Time: March 4, 2013. Feelings: Your Main Manifestation Tool
Last night I had a very informative and enlightening dream. A thunderous voice from above came to me and said out of the blue: “Manifestation only happens through feelings and the majority of people are not feeling one-hundred percent.” I didn’t see myself as part of the dream. Rather, I was only a listener. This was an audible and not a visual experience. It was clear that the message was the focal point as the voice continued with the previous thought: “You all have to reconnect with your sentient being, remember what is like to feel good to be able to achieve and manifest all of your goals.” (more…)
A Moment in Time: February 21, 2013. Ayahuasca has healed me
What if every step that we take in our life is leading us toward a necessary event that can only come once we are prepared and ready for it?
Recently, I was blessed with the opportunity of doing a sacred journey to the Peruvian jungle. Now that I have accomplished it and I am benefiting from its results, it is making me understand the dynamics of life when we ask for a major breakthrough and after a while we are able to experience it. (more…)
A Moment in Time: February 5th, 2013. Return to the Jungle’s Innocence
“So what do you get to ‘do’ while being in the jungle for two whole weeks?” The lady sitting next to me on the plane that was bringing me back to “civilization” asked in a sarcastic and incredulous way.
I didn’t know how or where to start answering her because as unbelievable as it may seem, I didn’t stopped “doing” at the same that I didn’t stopped “being” during my recent trip to the Peruvian Amazon rain forest, where I reconnected with my real self and brought it back with me to the world that I’ve decided to create in another more “urban” reality where millions just like me, live without even realizing such wild and pristine environment still exists. (more…)
A Moment in Time: January 16th 2013. Lessons of a Broken Boiler and a Human Heart
A few days ago I was able to live the most amazing experience which still has my brain thinking and my heart smiling. There are some occasions in one’s life where you are offered circumstances through which you can put in practice what until that moment in time has only been theory. In my case, I am one of those “curious” human beings who wants to feel everything firsthand. So there you go, I asked and I received! The universe put me to the test in a very loving but unexpected way.
There I was, in London at my daughters’ flat all by myself as they both had gone away for the holidays, when suddenly the boiler that takes care of heating water and temperature stopped working. At first I didn’t worry as I thought it was just a matter of calling the repairman and arrange an urgent visit. After hanging the phone I realized that this was a little bit more serious than what I had planned as they wouldn’t come to fix the problem until five days later. When you are in the middle of winter and all you see through the window is rain, haze, some frost, and lots of clouds with more rain, five days can be an eternity! (more…)
A Moment in Time: January 2nd 2013. A New Concept of Abundance That Truly Works!
It is such an honor to be alive and writing this article, knowing that after “doomsday” the planet and its inhabitants we have all survived! I am already feeling all the changes that this new year is bringing us individually and collectively. Yes, I know that when we focus on the external circumstances, it is hard for our rational and logical minds to be willing to incorporate a new set of beliefs, which are the ones that can create a new reality for our eyes to see. (more…)
A Moment in Time: December 15th 2012. Rejoice! Doomsday Is Here!
Yes, I know. You might think I’ve gone nuts using a title like this for this article. But you see, I am one of those who believes that on December 21st, 2012, the world will not end due to a physical or external cause such as a comet colliding with the Earth, a thermonuclear war, or a pole shift – just to name a few of all the predictions I’ve heard from many different sources since I was a little girl. It’s been a while since I first started listening to those interpretations of our “final days”, and thank goodness they will end soon. I have to admit though, that I lived in fear and doubted whether these were true or false until very recently, a few years back I guess.

A Moment in Time: December 2nd 2012. Which One to Choose: Your Heartbeat or Your Alarm Clock?
It is six a.m. on a Sunday morning. My eyes start opening to a brand new day while my heart is in charge of awakening all my body’s parts in the most gentle and loving way. All my cells are involved, I can feel them.
A few years ago, I was one of the millions who used an alarm clock to get up in the mornings. This was such a disruptive habit that I started noticing how after my hand turned off that little device I had next to my bed making that invasive sound that I hated so much, my brain would immediately take over my life, and my day could only be created in the same fashion: I would call it a ‘”fast as possible” day. A Moment in Time: November 16th, 2012. Can the Word ‘Giving’ have a Different Meaning?
A few weeks ago, I posted the above mentioned inspirational quote throughout my different social media accounts and I was very impressed with the reaction it got from many people belonging to different cultures, ideologies and beliefs. Basically, my words were interpreted as if the action of giving could only mean that the “things” we human beings give or offer must be “material” in nature, and to be more specific, must be money, food and the like.
